Payment Arrangements or Assistance
Payment Arrangements
Carroll Electric realizes its members need to have accurate information about alternatives available to prevent an unmanageable build-up of past due balances.
Please call Customer Service at 1.800.432.9720 prior to the due date of your bill to discuss all available payment options:
Deferred Payment Agreement
A deferred payment agreement allows you to pay an overdue balance by scheduling a series of payments or installments on future bills that you can financially manage.
Payment Extension
A payment extension is an option provided to our customers to assist them in resolving a temporary financial burden. If you are unable to pay your electric bill on or by the due date, you can receive additional time to pay that balance.
Payment Assistance
The LIHEAP Program
LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) is a program that provides money to help individuals with energy bills and other energy-related expenses. LIHEAP is funded through the federal government and works with the community action agencies to help customers pay for and keep electric service in their homes. To learn more about eligibility or apply online for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), please visit the following website(s):
